Copyright and Plagiarism
Before you start writing your thesis, it is a good idea to get familiar with copyright and plagiarism. The Visual Communication Guy has some really useful infographics about it.

Just in case…
BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP!
There is NO excuse for losing your thesis. Make MULTIPLE copies on your computer, in a cloud drive, on an external hard drive, etc. These copies should be organized well so you can always go back if you regret any changes.
Also, mark the ones already revised, or just keep different copies for originals and revised ones.
Reference Style… Which one????
APA (American Psychological Association) style is most commonly used to cite sources within the social sciences.
MLA (Modern Language Association) style is most commonly used to write papers and cite sources within the liberal arts and humanities.
IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) style is widely used in electrical, electronic and computing publications.
CMS (Chicago Manual of Style) has two document styles. The Notes-Bibliography System (NB) is widely used in history and economics. The Author-Date System (AD) is preferred by social sciences.
Useful Forms…
02. Revised questions and bibliography
03. Research Plan and Bibliography
04. Topic plus proposal or abstract
