It was a rainy Sunday yesterday and there I was, in downtown Miyazaki, to do a presentation about online security. This is not my usual type of talk, and to be honest, it was quite challenging.
The audience was small (less than 20 people) with ages ranging from 20 to 60 (as far as I can tell). I was not really sure about how much the attendees knew about technology so creating the presentation made me a little bit nervous. In the end, I was able to come up with something that would give me enough room to go deeply into the technology call aspect of online security or to stay on the basics of what should be done.
The feedback was great. I was supposed to speak for 60 minutes but ended up speaking for an hour and forty minutes. The audience was also not shy. I received many questions and our Q&A extended for another thirty minutes.
Thank you for the attendees and the staff who did such a great job managing the event.
